He definitely is pretty bad. |

I may have seen a few worse (I'm probably older than you), but in any case, there's no valid explanation for his presence all over American TV. It's not a merit-based decision, that's for sure. |

Have you personally met him? He's a pretty vile individual. |

He's also suspected of being involved in the phone hacking etc scandal in England from when he was with Rupert Murdoch's newspapers. |

Finally Americans have noticed. He's probably one of the most disliked men in the UK, ever. |
| Not so bad |

I don't know. I am sure he is a pretty difficult guy in real life and is probably a dick to pretty much everyone, but I kind of like his show when I catch it. He doesn't give too many of his guests a free pass and challenges almost all the conservative politicians and wacko evangelicals. He isn't afraid to ask tough questions and doesn't let too many people use his show as a platform to just spout off their bullsh*t. He's seems very self interested and this makes him seem kind of untrustworthy (I'm sure he did some dodgy stuff back in the UK) but I think he is actually pretty good at his job and comes across as informed and knowledgeable on most issues. I wanted to, but I can't really hate on him. |

Because bashing conservatives and evangelicals is so shocking nowadays. When have you ever heard him grill a liberal? |
| Not so bad |

I wouldn't say bashing. For example, I saw him a while back ask Joel Osteen to reconcile what he is preaching with his seemingly contradictory stance on gay rights and capital punishment. He pushed him a bit, but wasn't rude about it. It seemed like a fair thing to do to a public figure who was trying to come on the show to sell his book or whatever. |

please watch the interview he did with jesse ventura. one of the most outlandish mainstream tv interviews ive seen. |

Agree with some points above - but what I CANNOT STAND is his tendency to interrupt every guest mid-sentence. |
