Most of the time I feel tired and dizzy/lightheaded. My easy runs are feeling harder and my heart rate gets very high very quickly. What could possibly be the problem? |

A serious answer would require a serious effort in determining the problem, which you didn't display with your 2 sentence post. Are you getting enough sleep? What does your training look like? What is your diet like? Etc... |

I am a sophomore in high school and am running about 60 mpw. I would say that my diet is relatively high carb and low protein. |

Assuming you are sleeping enough and giving ample time for recovery, you could be anemic secondary to iron deficiency. It's pretty common in high school runners, especially those not eating a good diet. Go to your pediatrician and state your concerned about iron deficiency and describe your symptoms. Simple blood tests will show it. |
