I ran ~ a 1:13:00 at the NYC Half this weekend. What do you think a reasonable Boston Marathon goal should be?

A lot will depend on the weather.

A lot will depend if you can hold yourself back the first 8-10 miles - a lot more difficult than you think at Boston when everyone around you is going faster than you are used to it is easy to go with everyone.

A lot will depend on how your legs handle getting beat up on downhills.

With that all said 2:34 - 2:39

haha... these answers are 'da' best... they get more and more vague. and as for goal time the 15% rule says 6min pace is your golden goal.
