Futsum Zeinasellassie ran his first race of the track season last night in Indiana. First mile was in 4:25. Hopefully he and Cheserek will meet up at some point this spring / summer.

Ches had more footspeed. He whooped that ass in xc, he's definitely gna whoop that ass in a shorter race.

So he ran one mile at Cheserek's 5K pace and then positive splitted by 10 seconds? I don't think their meeting is going to be a "showdown". Although it might look like it cuz Cheserek is good friends with him and will slow down like he did at Footlocker so as not to embarrass him.

This is good for Fustum early in the season. Depauw is a non-banked 200m track, and throw in he was in a high school only race and most likely lapped everyone, then it is really good.

Really? I thought that footspeed only mattered in xs but that in indoors it was more a matter of elbow speed while in outdoor it was navel speed that counted. Or it could be the other way around.
