Sometimes you can just tell by looking at someone's face. It was like that watching Borg after his epic Wimbledon final over McEnroe. You could see immediately after the match his eyes said, "I don't ever want to go through that again". And he didn't. Look at Tiger's interview. In particular notice his "death stare". Sorry, but that looks more like a five year old child just barely holding back the tears because he can't handle the situation he is in. Death stare?!? Tiger used to have it. Now he has crybaby eyes (literally, he looks like he can just hold back those tears and/or keep from running away). http://www.sbnation.com/golf/2012/2/29/2834264/tiger-woods-interview-video-hank-haney-book It's over. Tiger will NEVER win another Major. If you didn't hear it here first, well at least you heard it here. |

I still think he has at least one more in him. He needs to swallow some pride and get a good coach to get him back all the way. |

It's unlikely Tiger will get Jack's record, particularly as the competition just keeps getting deeper and deeper. He certainly won't get Jack's 45 top three finishes in majors. |

45 top three finishes is INSANE. Just over 11 years worth of top three finishes in EVERY SINGLE MAJOR?!? Is that true (too lazy to look it up just now)? Holy mackerel! |

I was going off memory. Looks like 46 actually: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Nicklaus |

He's got another 4 years to do it. You're not going to win a lot of majors after you hit 40, particularly not with all the injuries Tiger's had. I think it will be difficult for him to get JN's record, but not entirely impossible. It depends on how much heart he's got left in him - and that does appear somewhat suspect at this point. From articles I have read recently, Tiger reportedly has the heart of a Navy Seal. |

I'm a big fan of Tiger Woods as a golfer (I'm not just saying that so please don't think I'm a racist), but I don't think he's going to win any more majors, either. |

It would be alright with me if Tiger never won another major. I would be okay with that. |

Why would you be OK with that? |

This is a pretty bad prediction. This is a sport where even pikers can get in a groove and win once in a while. Explain John Daly. He will win, and win majors, just not with the same regularity. I think a better prediction is that we will probably see a fat Tiger win a major before his career is over. Daddy's boy. |

John Daley will win again? Hmmmmm. Anyway, Tiger still has game and will win likely several more times. Whether he comes good on a Major week is up to the gods. Highly unlikely he will get Jacks record. |

It is a perfect prediction, as predictions can only be judged by whether or not they turn out to be true and this one will indeed turn out to be true. |

I golf maybe once a year for fun, and I don't even own golf clubs. The only time I watch professional golf is during the Masters, but I will pretty much watch every single minute of it. Maybe it is because I grew up in Georgia. I really enjoy the coverage of event. Anyway, for me personally the Masters is a ton more fun to watch when Tiger is in the hunt. I don't always root for him to win it...sometimes I do...but I just want him in there mixing it up! |

Greg Norman almost won The Open when he was 53 and Tom Watson when he was 59. Nicklaus himself one his last major at 46. Anything is possible, and to say that Tiger will never win another major is a bit premature. He still has probably a six-year window at least to right his game, and anything's possible in one tournament. He has great rounds and holes still, but can't string them together consistently. It's been hard watching his fall from grace, and I hope he cant find contentment no mater what happens. I wouldn't rule him out, but I doubt he gets Jack's record. Fields are too deep. I'd like to see lefty win a couple more, especially the US Open, where's he's finished runner-up five times. |
