Education yes, but the funds should be given to the students/parents and they should have a choice which school to go to. Close all public schools.

Education, Civil Rights, Planned Parenthood, NEA, PBS, FCC, DEA, SEC, Internet.

Cut: VA, Farm Subsidies, Church Subsidies, Private University funding.

Did you really put these two sentences together and not mention that Gov't funding of military is totally corrupt?

National DEFENSE is priority #1. That means military.

That does NOT mean:
OFFENSE,
occupying other countries,
"establishing democracy" abroad,
securing oil for our multinational oil companies
spying on US citizens
maintaining military bases in 132+ countries
pre-emtive wars, bombings, etc.
funding militaries of other countries (Israel, etc.)
wars on "terrorism"

probably 90%+ of what is spent is unnecessary, despite this being one of the top priorities of the federal government. This is the "military industrial complex" we were warned against.

The only thing our government actually FUNDS is the military. Everything else is just run up on the debt.

I'm talking in principle, not about the current state of the U.S. government specifically. I agree that only defensive military action is justified.
