I've been married almost 10 years, and have always disliked my wedding ring. I've worn it only very rarely. I've always disliked wearing jewlery of all kinds. My wife almost always wears hers, and isn't bothered by me not wearing mine. Any other guys not wear their rings? |

I don'twear any gold jewelry. I'm allergic to gold - finger turns black and blue. |

Same problem here. I can't wear anything but pure gold otherwise I get a horrible itchy rash like eczema. I do have platinum rings that I occasionally (not routinely) wear. |

My husband wears his wedding ring more than me. He wears his nonstop whereas I wear mine on occasion. |

Been married 33 years and still only wear it for dress up occasions, along with a nice watch. I can't stand to wear anything, that includes a watch. Like that naked feeling. Both the ring and watches slide all over the place, and that bothers me. What I can't stand is guys wearing NECKLACES, of any kind. Or ear rings for that matter. .........Go ahead, slam away. |

Same here. Never wear the ring. I just don't like the idea of some physical object somehow marking my status - as if I don't know how to behave without being branded or something. That said, I am sure that there are many, many men who always wear their rings and are happy to do so for their own, totally valid reasons. To each his own. |

I thought I was going to hate wearing a ring - I have an extreme distaste for males wearing jewelry of any kind - but I wear it all the time and I rarely even know it's there. If my wife hadn't wanted me to wear one, I never would have, but I kinda like it now. I think it was important to actually go look at different rings and pick out one that I liked. I could never wear something like yellow gold or something flashy, but I found a plain tungsten band that's brushed on the outside and polished on the inside. Very discreet, but looks cool too. To each his own. |

I lost mine after we had been married about two years. Ours son was about 3-4 months old and I hated the fact that I didn't have a ring. I felt it was disrespecting my wife and son as if we weren't married. Seriously, who wants to give the appearance of shacking up and having a basstard (sic) child? I have never felt so naked without that ring. |

Never bought one for either myself or my wife, She bought her own eventually to stave off pick-ups. |

I do not wear mine. I gave it a honest shot for a few months, and I hated the thing. Neither of our fathers wear one, which probably made it easier for me. Does anyone wear a class ring or other kind of ring but not the wedding ring? |

My dad and his father and grandfather etc. It's a new thing, the male ring. |

My dad didn't wear his, but I would be surprised if many non-white-collar workers do. |

I only wear mine when I'm around the bitch |

My guess is you don't wear it for attention and have cheated. Or your fat. Which is it?

I lost my first ring in the river at Xc camp. My wife wanted a new ring for me that fit tighter. well they tried to fix it twice and it is now sized smaller then my finger. so I no longer where it. I don't miss it at all! |

don't wear my wedding unless it's a 'special occasion'...never been one for wearing jewelry, and rarely even wear a watch. |
