It was misunderstood that I posted something under the guise of sp!kes. I have not posted in years. Have always and always will use my name. What was posted offended two coaches that I like and respect. One of which I know. I almost posted in late November in regards to a friend and now former acc coach. I held off. I don't know what was said or who sp!led is but it ain't me. Whoever told the respective coaches that I am sp!kes...what the hell? Letsrun annoys me in many ways. I can not access at work as the server has it blocked from former owner of company. So I am typing this whole f-ing thing on my iPhone which is more annoying because I am at least half a retard and barely know how to use it. If this does not post I may crap in my pants. Either way I am not sp!kes and do not support whatever views he has. I am a fan of Texas and John Hayes and respect Pete Watson and hope UVA continues to thrive. Coach Vig and I go back a couple decades but his resignation has no impact in how I feel about UVA athletes or distance coaches. Whoever misinterpreted things from sp!kes and pinned them on me please do not do it again. Not sure how or why you did. Feel free to contact me Grote@therunningcompany.net. Thanks. Grote |

Unfortunately for the texas distance coach and the UVA distance coach, they will always be in the shadow of Vig as long as they coach in those places. They will not achieve the results that Vig achieved, thats just the way it is. I think Vig got lucky at times and did some amazing things at times but his results are what they are...and they are some of the some of the most impressive stuff we have ever seen in middle distance coaching. |

I respect and admire Ryan Grote almost as much for his spelling of Stanford as for his stand up attitude and honesty. He is one of the few who will not hide behind a username as I do and for that I salute him. |

I find it hilarious that the UVA coach is reading letsrun and cares about what Sp!kes has to say. It says a lot about the guy and about the future of his team. Not a good sign. Why doesn't he just go out and create some results to shut Sp!kes up? oh, he's already coached great recruits? He didn't do anything with them? oh. sorry, I didn't know that. |

Do you think John McDonald is on letsrun? Do you think Lananna is on the boards? Pretty sure the bad coaches are on letsrun more than the successful coaches. |
