Anyone know if he's American? According to his OSU bio ( http://www.okstate.com/sports/m-track/mtt/erassa_kirubel00.html ), Erassa ran 14:19 in HS. Has scored in Big 12 in mile, was top 20 at Big 12s in xc this year. Who are the credentials of the other Americans in the race? Where do they go to school? Any brits out there? Who are your guys? |

Considering Erassa ran for the US, I'd assume he's an American citizen although I know Lukas V did compete for the US in triathlon and he's not an American. As for bios, it looks like USATF has bios of everyone in all the races. Cuffe 2nd, Seidel 3rd, Knight 5th... very impressive performance for the US juniors. Nathan Weitz finished up pretty close to the front, as well as Gardner, so WA did well today! |

erassa was a great hs runner he's east african but i dont know if he's a us citizen, eddie owens was a good hs runner 8th at footlocker i think was a great 3k steeple runner (sub 9) in highschool, freshman at princeton this year had a solid 1st year |

4th Eddie Owens attended Packer Collegiate in Brooklyn and was partly coached by my teammate, I believe. |
