He bailed out of jail a few days ago. Now police want to arrest him on new charges but he cannot be found.

He must be guilty if he is on the run. Innocent people do not run from the police.

This guy just provides further evidence that we NEED to secure our border NOW. This CRIMINAL should have never been allowed here in the first place. As an illegal mexican, he was breaking the law before any of this stuff went down. How was he able to be employed at a school anyway? Proof that the system is broken.

I know this sounds awful, but I am beginning to get suspicious of anyone who chooses to work with kids, especially "disadvantaged" kids.

From this guy, Sandusky and the ReVille guy from Charleston, SC, this "sector" seems to be full of sick perverts.

I apologize to anyone out there who is sincerely trying to help these poor kids. These guys just make it really hard to trust you.
Suicide?

I have a bad feeling that he is going to wind up a suicide. It is terrible, but I doubt he is on the run. I think they are going to find him.

I hope and pray that I am wrong, but this is just a bad scenario.

Don't forget the Bobby Dodd, President and CEO of the AAU just resigned after accusations (maybe arrested since, not sure) because of the same type of allegations when he was involved in coaching travelling basketball teams.

why is it always assumed that the kids are being harmed in these situations? teenagers can't have meaningless sex like older people? especially if the teenager has been with plenty of other people already?

No, they cannot. They cannot because they are not old enough to deal with the consequences.

Think for a minute. Can a 14 year old girl take care of a baby? Can a 14 year old girl deal with the emotions like a 35 year old woman?

Take your head out of your ass and think before you post.

But the law under discussion is not a law against 14 year olds having sex.

I'm going to let you re-read my post and try again. Maybe your concluding statement should have been directed at yourself.

But even if your post is relevant, so 35 years old should be the minimum age for having sex and having babies?

I think his post answered your question pretty clearly.

Me too. When I hear someone say "help", "work with", "coach", etc. in the context of someone else's children I'm thinking usually they really mean "grope", "have sex with", "bone", etc. But I hate other people's children so it's difficult for me to imagine actually wanting to have anything to do with any you don't have to, unlike your own.

I'm a HS coach, I coach because I love XC and track. The sport of running has done great things in my life, and I would hope that running can do the same to the lives of others. I teach for the same reason.

I can tell you it is scary as hell to coach now. Especially since I know Ponce, and many of my kiddos do as well. For the last several years, it has been scary to give a kid a high five for a good job, and no way in hell can you give a girl a pat on the back or a hug when they reach their milestone pr's.

As a teacher, there is no way I can have a girl in the office or classroom with out another student or teacher with her.

It really is hard to actually be able to do good by a child with out someone thinking there is an ulterior motive. I am just glad I am married with kids and my wife works at the school as well.

Only $2K to sell out Ponce? Lousy reward.

Well, you're an adult, right? You're smart enough to understand that not all car drivers are drunk and not all trees fall down on houses, right? Then grow up and recognize simple percentages.

That's 3 out of many thousands.
I bet there are 3 lawyers, accountants, doctors, runners, waiters, engineers, farmers, civil servants, etc. who commit crimes.

There would have to be hundreds of examples, or a very small group (e.g. top CEOs or politicians or generals for example) to even begin to draw these type of conclusions.
