but now that i'm here, i might as well let you know that LV decided to run - and for some reason they let him - and he won it all, followed closely by Sheila Reid and Jordan Hasay. GF tripped on Lawi Lalang while sprinting to the front and eventually both DNFed, leaving the door wide open for Mark Wetmore's team of robot-people to steal the victory from the jaws of death - literally, because a gaping sink hole opened up around a blind corner on the course, swallowing most runners who went out too fast - which is, of course, everyone but the Buffs at most NCAA meets. |
