On top of being tasteless, I find the photo of Chris with the red x over him to be misleading. It insinuates Chris's record is removed because of something he did, like PEDs, and not simply due to an even better run by someone else. Truly awful, awful journalism and product management. I really don't want to visit a site that does something like this. |

I get the sense that Robert and crew are responsible for more of this stuff than Weldon. Just a feeling--that Weldon is more on the business end and hyperbolic Robert and some overeager youngin's put up the cringeworthy home page stuff. Seems like lots of time Weldon writes on threads like these how he saw such and such only after someone asked him about it. |

Seriously a stupid, stupid move on their part. It's absolutely ridiculous. Sol's AR was a great run. Rupp's run yesterday was an incredible run. Why not leave it at that instead of trying to make Sol look like a punk? Sometimes I love this site because it's a great collection of news in the running world, but the brojo's make it difficult to keep coming back. However, I'd love to hear an explanation from them as to why they felt that pic on the homepage was necessary. If they can rationally explain it then ok, otherwise they need to publicly apologize to Sol and put up a pic of Rupp. |
