epic epic race coming in less than 24 hours! Letsrun preview: http://www.letsrun.com/2011/womens-10000-0825.php I think this race will be between Defar, Vivian, and Melkamu. In my opinion the brojos are underestimating Defar. She still has the WR in 2 miles and a 10 000 m PB of 29:59. Vivian Cheruiyot has talked a lot of talk this year. She seems to think she will be the next great thing. But so far she has not shown it. However, with a 14:20 5000 this year, this could be the race she comes through! Thoughts?/discussion! |

i agree that she's been talking and sub 14 is not happening but she's definitely shown she's a serious medal threat this year, beating masai at world XC and a PR in the 10000. and 14:20 is no joke. |

Cant wait to see what shalane does. She's the best (of the American distance runners). However, in Berlin, things didn't work out well. |

There are a number of women going for the double and I'm not so sure either Vivian Cheruiyot or Defar can win both. I've got Cheruiyot for the 10k and Defar for the 5k in my picks, so given my luck with the predictions so far, it's probably going to be the other way around. |

having paid for premium i would expect that a distance race not be cut away. can't they have multiple streams running so i can choose the event i want and not miss part of what i paid to watch? |
