It was Ethiopia and Eritrea, not Tanzania. Abera Kuma and Samuel Tsegay were the athletes DQ'd.

Really, sorry. I went by the uniforms, Eritrea's unform looked different. I did't know they ware yellow now. Well Eritrea and Ethiopia are sworn enemies. I am not suprised, they hate each other with passion.

The other guy was Eritrean. I suspect he stopped to help and the Ethio tried to shoo him away, to which the Eritrean got pissed like "well THAT'S what I get? F YOU!" Just guessing.

One of the weirdest tings I've seen since the Athens Olympics when the crazed priest attacked the marathon leader.

Then a real man like you would have no trouble taking them apart on the race course, right? Why do I suspect you couldn't hang with the women on the course, let alone the men?

Exactly. Now we just add a 30-yard zone at the end of each mile where you can tackle and go UFC on any competitor near you. That would be worth watching. For the humor alone.

Yeah, Ethiopia and Eritrean trasfer their enmity to the track.

I am still puzzled as to why the Eritrean had the Ethiopian leg in his hands, and off the ground. I wish the video had captured the occurrence prior to this event.

Perhaps Ethio[pia needs to appeal. It seems that Kuma didn't do anything wrong from that short clip.

Stop lying. It was the Japanese runners. They lost their calmness, stoicism, started a riot, and were knifing each other. You can't fool letsrunners. We know the truth.

Did they two get tangles and fall? It almost appeared like they were both getting up when the one guy grabs the other's foot. That is about the only explanation for how the ended up in the situation in the first place.

And you are right about Kuma. He didn't throw a punch he took one. Why DQ him? Maybe he started the whole mess but it wasn't captured on camera. Pretty wild though.
