Who do you all think the best running journalist is?
Marc Bloom probably gets the nod. He writes for Runner's World and the New York Times. Lear made a name for himself with his two books. Parker Morse might be the online winner for fastwomen.com and runnersworld.com. What do you all think? This includes books, magazines, and online.
jere longman of the ny times is a fantastic journalist, not only track but other "marginalized" sports.
elliot denman when he used to write for the asbury park press (n.j.) was good too. aside from the quality of his writings, he was respected enough to be the sports editor, and the a.p. press is a pretty large sized paper too.
another jersey bias for me, but ed grant (or grant edwards as he was called too) single handedly keeps track in new jersey interesting.
