How come there isn't a thread on the race? I overslept and missed the first 5k (thank you universalsports for making me get up at 3am to watch nothing). Hall's splits so far 4:48 mile 1 4:40 mile 2, 9:29 at 2 miles 4:43 mile #3, 14:12 at three miles. He is a little off of record pace right now, but looking great. 14:42 5K split 4:46 mile for the fourth mile. The pace for Hall's existing American record of 59:43 is 4:33 per mile. Who here can run one 4:33 mile? 441 - 23:40 444 -2824 10k was like 2925 to 2927 He's basically running 4:43 mile pace which will be really good. I'm tired of hearing the announcers go negative. |

I'm surprised there wasn't a thread as well. I figured more people would be into this race than Berlin particularly since it's at 7:30 am and not 3:00 am. GO Hall. PS. Can someone please tell Juli Henner to go back to coaching and stop talking? Of course a 4-way finish would be fun. |

Wanjiru ran 1:01:08 last week in the midst of his Chicago preparation. He is the best in the world. Hall is averaging 4:44 for the first 15k. That projects to 62:14. It would be nice to see them pick it up and get to 61mins. -Rojo This brings back good memories for me. I ran my half pr thre. 67 low? |
