Can't figure out why some of my posts end up in bold type, while others don't.

Any experienced LR formatters who can answer to this?

I'm not doing anything different from post to post as far as I can tell. At first I thought it was only posts from my Blackberry, but I'm home today and just saw the same thing happen with the laptop...

Any ideas?

I thought this said "Blood Type Mystery" and was interested in the mysterious differences in blood types.

I think it might be because you click quote and the other poster had it on bold? Maybe .

It happens to me about half the time, too. Can't figure it out.

Very amusing. You seem to have some control over your bolding, while mine has a mind of its own.

Am also finding the before and after belly ads annoying today. Bleckkk! They're on every page!

Just reply to posts... don't (mis)use the quote functionality!

If you quote someone and accidentally take out the de-bolding formatting right after "wrote:", the entire post will remain bold (unless you close your bold formatting later in the post).

For an example of this formatting, quote a post and note instances of "bracket, B, close-bracket" and "bracket, slash, b, close bracket". The former makes everything that comes after bold; the latter makes the bolding stop.

You brought back a 3-year-old thread for this? Maybe you have a little too much time on your hands...
