Is it possible that someone besides Jordan, Kathy, or Ashley WIN the Footlocker championship? I it can happen...but is there someone we are missing? if not....I can't pick it....good luck to all! ps...Jordan does like she a little more mature....I just hope it is good race...and let best woman win! 30 YEARS!.....now that is the WOW factor! |

Ok I will go with Allie McLaughlin. Sveinsson definitely can but she is after all tired from last week, and THE NXN champion. Emily Jones is also very fast, but I will go with McLaughlin to pull the upset. She has run some VERY fast times at altitude in Colorado. |

There is great presure on the big three to win this race espicially Hassey. Their times this year have been equal too or slower than last year so given that, I expect similar times on Saturday. This race can be won by a dark horse just by hanging around within striking distance. Any of a number of girls that have a good day could win the race by attrition. I'll be watching. |

Megan Goethals, the Midwest champ (beat McLaughlin and Sisson). One of the last remaining undefeated runners. She surprised herself by winning FLMW from behind and now has the confidence to run with the best from the start. I think one of the Big 3 will win, but Goethals has a good of a shot as any of the others to win, albeit a very small shot. |

I am picking Brasovan. I saw her in Charlotte the past 2 years and she was taking it easy both times. She knows that the regional is only a qualifier. Kathy was racing, Ashley was not. I think the race will come down to Jordan vs. Ashley. Jordan is the wildcard. Last year she ran like an idiot, looks like Sam Chelanga watched her race last year and thought it was a good idea. Both of the girls are studs and it is anyone's race. I think Ashley will again race smarter and come through at the end. Jordan will run out in front (Maybe not as far as she did last year) and lose it at the end. Anyway, I am pumped and this should be a great race!! |
