I think going into the 3 laps we'll see Tegenkamp, Riley, Asmerom, Solinsky, and Slattery in the front/leading pack. |

You gotta think Teg is going to win it just based off last year and us not hearing of any major problems for him since then... I think Solinksy for 2nd and I'm going to go for Slattery for 3rd. Should be a fun race to watch! |

Does Jonathan Riley just train for THIS race every year? (Just kidding folks, I've been a huge fan of his ever since getting my ass kicked by him in high school.) I think he just likes winning national championships in front of his "home" crowd at Reggie. I agree with the above post. If Tegenkamp's in decent shape, he's probably the favorite in my mind. |

You just wanted to drop the fact that you used to race "against" him in high school. 10 to 1 you never threatened him in races and he wouldn't know your name if he saw it. I agree Teg and Solinsky for the 1-2. Teg is the man and Solinsky works very well when he has fast teammates around him. |

Guy never said it was a close race or that he threatened him. He actually said he got his ass kicked. You usually do race people from your same state and then, shockingly enough, many times you become fans of them. |

I would agree with Teg getting the win - if the race were 7000m longer. |

Lets not forget Riley ran away from Solinsky at Mayo. I just cant see TS getting beat, but I think it will be an exciting race to watch. |

Hmmm, I don't think I ever said I "threatened him" in a race. I said he "kicked my ass." I was top 5 in the state but no where near his caliber (then or now). In fact, pretty much no one threatened him in MA his entire time time in MA. (He only competed in MA during track his junior year and then cross country and track his senior year.) He only really got beat down at Footlocker (by another MA guy). What was wrong with me saying that? And actually, he probably would know my name because he was very personable and respective of his fellow competitors (hence me being a fan). |
