The original thread has semi-disappeared. You can still visit via http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=1903398&page=0.

Hopefully we can start over without the curious editing someone undertook on the last thread.

I'll start: easy 70' today with striders and stretching. How about you?

Congrats you all of you! Beware, however, as "you know who" is back in town. Let's see if we cannot keep this thread free of his taunts and barbs.

Meanwhile, back on the track.....

20' w/u, 5 x 1M @ 102% vVO2max, 30' c/d....stretch....massage (it happened again! any of you males with female coaches ever encounter a situation like this? I could use some advice, though I'm not sure I want it to stop.)

How does that Carly Simon song go...."you're so vain, you probably think this song is about you."

Fartlek today....20' followed by 8 x 2' on, 1' off, then another easy 20'. Lifting, stretching, and massage (nothing too exciting today, if you know what I mean).

Yesterday: Rugby training, barefoot on grass filed (to quality grass), different exercises, drills, game of touch, full contact last 10 minutes, too old for this but like it much. Bike commuting, too many hills in this city.

Today: bike commuting. Try and get a 45 minute walk in the park if time allows.

Tuesday lunch run. 7 miles total, with 8 striders on a track i passed along the way, and mile six was at 15k pace. I didn't try to do anything creative, I just got bored and ended up with a nice quality workout. It felt great.
