I first discovered this a few years ago, actually, when I met Mr. Broe and asked for his autograph. First, he signed it "Tim Crouch," then scribbled it out, saying "whoops, heh heh . . . let me see that again, kid," and then proceded to write "Peter Broe." Confused, I asked him what the mixup was, and he pulled me aside and confessed to me his secret, with the stipulation that if I told anybody, he would kill me, and that even if I thought I was doing it anonymously, he would know. Now if you'll excuse me, the doorbell just rang. |

Broe does look a lot like Crouch, crazy resemblance. You know who else looks like him is the that tall kid on Wisconsin's XC team, Eagon I think. I would guess that Crouch is quite a bit taller then Broe. |
