The 2016 Bank of American Chicago Marathon – the second Abbott World Marathon Major of the Fall – takes place on Sunday.

The race starts at 8:30 a.m. ET (7:30 a.m. local time).

The Chicago Marathon website will offer a live results page with a leaderboard where you can track your favorite runners. For the elite km by km splits for the lead men, you have to go here as Helmut Winter, Sean Hartnett, Nathan Schaffer are putting up tons of splits:

For the first time in 2016, the Chicago marathon has an app that runners and fans can download (iPhone and here for Android, or by searching “Bank of America Chicago Marathon” in the App and Google Play stores) to track runners.

The Comeback: How Luke Puskedra Bounced Back from 4th Place at the Olympic Trials and His Daughter’s Cancer Diagnosis to Prepare for Sunday’s Chicago Marathon Puskedra’s 14-month old daughter Penelope, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma two days after the Trials, is now cancer-free. That’s allowed Puskedra to focus on cranking out 130-mile weeks (in singles!) in preparation for Chicago.

Americans Luke Puskedra, Elkanah Kibet & Diego Estrada Talk About Their Chicago Marathon Buildups Puskedra thinks he’s in similar shape to last year when he was a big surprise, Estrada says he’s purposely going in undertrained and Kibet might be in the best shape of the three.
