Top Results 2012 US Half Marathon Championships: Goucher and Abdi Win

Top results of the 2012 US Half Marathon Championships in Duluth, Minnesota, which were part of Grandma's Marathon weekend, are below.

On the men's side, Abdi Abdirahman who already has qualified for his 4th US Olympic team in the marathon got the win over Brett Gotcher, fifth at the US Olympic Marathon Trials. US Master's ace Kevin Castille ran 1:06:02.

On the women's side, 2012 US Olympic Marathoner Kara Goucher won her final half-marathon tune-up before the Olympics in her home state of Minnesota. The runner-up was Stotan Racing's Maegan Krifchin. For more on Krifchin click here. 15 year old Alana Hadley ran 1:16:59, but that's not even as fast as her age group record of 1:16:36.
