Hot 1,500 Set For Monday Evening At Swarthmore

A hot 1,500 will take place on Monday evening at the 2012 Swarthmore Last Chance meet. Olympic silver medallist Nick Willis is flying in to help pace his former Michigan teammate Nate Brannen to the Olympic A standard of 3:35.50. Brannen seems to be in good form as he ran 3:54.81 in the mile at Mt. Sac a few weeks ago. Will Leer, who also trains with Brannen and Willis, is also in the field hoping to get the A as is former NCAA champ Lee Emmanuel.

So if you are in the Philly area, and looking for something to do on Monday night, get your butt to Swarthmore.

Kudos to Adrien Blincoe for the heads up and for helping get the field together. Blincoe provided us with the following info:

Nick Willis is pacing to 1200m in 2:51-52. Here is the field with PR's. I have a photographer lined up, and i'll try to get someone decent to video tape it. Let me know if you need any more info.
