Minneapolis/St. Paul - March 31, 2010 - Team USA Minnesota's Jason Lehmkuhle and Antonio Vega will be among the elite field at the 32nd Crescent City Classic 10k in New Orleans on April 3.  The Easter weekend tradition has over 7,000 participants along with a reputation for a flat and fast 6.2-mile course.  The race starts in the French Quarter at 8:30 a.m. and finishes in City Park.

Both Lehmkuhle and Vega are using the race as a final tune-up before they compete in the Boston Marathon on April 19.  Lehmkuhle has a road best in the 10k of 28:54 and Vega's personal best on the roads is 29:05, with both times being set at the Peachtree 10k in Atlanta.

So far this year, Lehmkuhle has won the Mercedes Half Marathon in Birmingham on Feb. 14, and was fourth at the USA 15k Championships in Jacksonville on March 13.  In 2010, Vega won the USA Half Marathon Championships in Houston on Jan. 17, placed eighth at the USA Cross Country Championships in the men's 12k in Spokane on Feb. 13, and finished third at the USA 15k Championships in March.
