Where Your Dreams Become Reality

Quote of the Day:
"If the IAAF wanted to send me a gold medal now, they'd be welcome. But I won't pursue it. What I could never have is the moment of crossing the line as an Olympic or world champion. No one could ever give me that; they could give me the medal, but not the feeling...And maybe the rest of us who ran clean were a hell of a lot better than we thought we were."
-Roger Black who was on Britain's 4*400 team that got cheated out of a gold by the US at the 1997 World Champs. Yesterday was not a good day for US 4*400 runners. Of the 5 guys who ran at the 2000 Olympics only 2 (Michael Johnson and Angelo Taylor) haven't been busted for drugs. But don't worry everyone, drugs were never a big problem in our sport. We at letsrun.com have just been paranoid all these years.

Great News: Three Cheers: IAAF Golden League to Be On ESPN, With Repeats on ESPN2, ESPN Classic IAAF This is the best running news we've heard ina long, long time. The top meets in the world will get a ton of exposure. The repeats on ESPN2 and ESPN Classic will hopefully bring a few new fans to the sport. We have no idea who negotiated this with Masback gone but they deserve major  props. Somebody appears to get it. (The only bad news is that Pre and Oslo are the same weekend. Clearly, the IAAF doesn't totally get it)

Texas A&M Women Now #1, Men Fall to #3, LSU Men Now #1 Pat Henry is clearly making a big impact.
