Wisconsin Men and Stanford Women Top PreSeason LetsRun.com XC Polls LetsRun.com Wisconsin men and Stanford women are the #1 teams in the country in the 2006 LetsRun.com PreSeason NCAA Cross Country Polls.
Wisconsin dominated the 2005 Men's NCAA Champs, and is expected to dominate again according to the LetsRun.com poll. They got 10 times as many first place votes as runner-up Arkansas.
Stanford edged Colorado for the top spot in the women's poll despite receiving twice as many first place votes (28 for the Cardinal and 14 for the Buffaloes).
Conference and Regional Voting Virginia, Florida State and NC State, while Dartmouth and Princeton should battle it out in the Heps, with Stanford and Arizona fighting for supremacy in the Pac10 with the resurgent Oregon in the mix.
Arkansas was a unanimous pick to win the SEC men's title and push its amazing streak of 32 straight conference titles up one notch to 33. If they lose, the LetsRun.com jinx truly exists.
