National Marathon in Washington DC Looking for Interns Reporting
to the Director of the National Marathon, interns would be primarily
responsible for supporting day to day activities of the Greater Washington
Sports Alliances development, marketing, communications and event
departments. Candidates
should be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access,
and PowerPoint), be detail oriented and able to work in a very fast
paced environment. Additionally, candidates should also be creative,
adhere to deadlines, and have excellent verbal and written skills. A background and knowledge
of sports, particularly long distance running is recommended, but is
not necessary. This is not a paid position but the internship
