2005 Crazy 8 Field Editor's Noe: Alene Emere who ran the 2005 Peachtree Road Race under a false name (he was not invited because he had previously had a drug suspension) is in the field. The Indian Path Medical Center/Suntrust Bank Crazy Eights 8-K, scheduled for Saturday night in Kingsport, Tenn., has released their elite field, listed below by bib number. This will be the 16th edition of the race. Course records are 22:02.2 by Peter Githuka (KEN) 1996 and 24:27.8 by Asmae Leghzaoui (MAR) 2002, both are the currently accepted world records for the 8 km distance on a standard course. MEN - 1.
