Women's 1500m at 2001 USATF Nationals

The women's 1500m featured the matchup of Regina Jacobs, seemingly unbeatable in 2000 until she skipped the Olympics, versus Suzy Favor Hamilton, who ran the fastest time in the world before collapsing due to nerves at the Olympics.

In the end Regina came out on top again, Favor-Hamilton was 2nd and Sarah Schwald got 3rd. (For a race recap click here).  For Results click here.
